I picked up this Barbie carrying case at a garage sale. When I seen it, the case brought up all my memories of once playing with my friends with all our Barbies for hours. Then I looked at it. The owner said I know it’s pretty banged up. She had bought this for her granddaughter, who was in love with it. She was five. However her granddaughter was in love with it to used it for a lunch box for all her plush animals and raggedy dolls. The women said if I would have know, I would have bought her a used one to bang around, not the new one that she now wants. Now that her and her friends are older, they all want Barbies for Christmas. Now she’s a Barbie doll fanatic and loves her Barbies.
I then came home and notice there are no hangers, outfits or shoes. The cardboard drawer or plastic is missing and There is a pink vertical dressing stand that is gone. Also no rod/ poles to hang up clothes and there is scotch where the women had tried to take scotch tape off. But this poor inherited Scratches galore.
But, I gathered some things that were around the house to warm it up a little. It’s not the Barbie Ritz Hotel, but it’s perfect for a little girl to feed her own plush animals along with her raggedy dolls and to make her own scratches. At least till she comes to want that special Barbie carrying case of her own for Christmas.
